Houston Fire Department to conduct controlled burn at Sylvan Rodriguez Park
HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Fire Department, in collaboration with Houston Parks and Recreation Department (HPARD), will conduct a controlled burn at Sylvan Rodriguez Park on March 13, weather permitting.

The controlled burn is aimed at reducing accumulated vegetation that poses a wildfire risk to nearby residential communities. By decreasing the fuel load, fire officials aim to enhance public safety and protect homes in the surrounding area.
