HOUSTON, TX – A man was shot during a party at a Texas Southern University frat house early Saturday morning in the 3700 block of Wheeler Avenue. https://youtu.be/tkP5MLcH2SQ Police said the victim, who was hosting the party, sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition. According to investigators, the shooting occurred after a group of uninvited guests arrived at the frat house party and were asked to leave. The group became angry, and one individual retrieved a weapon from a vehicle. A physical altercation then broke out in the street between the two groups, and the suspect fired a single round into the crowd, striking the victim. HOUSTON, TX – A man was critically injured in a possible drive-by shooting early Saturday morning in the 5500 block of Antoine Drive. https://youtu.be/C99InBUGu1w Houston Police and Fire Department crews responded and located a male victim in his mid-30s with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers on scene provided first aid, applying chest seals and tourniquets before the man was transported to a nearby hospital. He is reported to be in critical condition. According to police, a female called in the shooting, which is believed to have been a drive-by. No suspect information is available at this time. HOUSTON, TX – Houston police have arrested Colby Tyler, 25, in connection with a fatal robbery and shooting that occurred at 7613 Boone Road about 4:35 p.m. on Aug. 12, 2025. The occupants told police they were at the intersection when another vehicle pulled up and someone began shooting in their direction. The male driver, believed to be in his mid-30s, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported by Houston Fire Department personnel to a local hospital in stable condition.
