According to the Houston Police Department Vehicle Crimes Division, a silver pickup truck crossed the intersection against what appeared to be a red light, struck an adult female who was crossing the roadway, and then fled the scene. Police said the suspect vehicle also struck another vehicle while leaving the intersection. HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police are investigating a fatal shooting in west Houston. https://youtu.be/QH0Spd3L204 Officers with the Houston Police Department’s Westside Patrol Division responded to a shooting call around 10:30 p.m. in the 11400 block of Bissonnet. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male who had been fatally wounded. Police said the man sustained a gunshot wound in front of a business on Bissonnet in the parking lot. At this time, police do not have further information regarding the victim or who else was involved. The investigation is ongoing.

One resident said the cows have gotten out several times in the past and expressed concern for public safety. It is unclear how the cows escaped, but no injuries were reported.

Officials said there were unconfirmed reports of a possible explosion. The mother sustained spot burns to her leg and was transported to a hospital in stable condition.
