The neighbor immediately called police. Officers with the Houston Police Department responded and entered the apartment to check for anyone needing medical attention. HOUSTON, TX – A memorial is planned for Spencer Germany, a father of five who was fatally shot after intervening in an assault at a home in Houston’s Third Ward. According to his family, the memorial will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Buffalo Run Park, 1122 Buffalo Run Park, in Missouri City. Germany was shot at a home in the 3300 block of Anita Street.
