HOUSTON - An 18-year-old man was pronounced deceased after a shooting early Sunday outside a cantina in north Houston. Authorities have now charged the suspected shooter with murder. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded early Sunday morning to a business in the 14900 block of the North Freeway after receiving reports of a shooting. Deputies found two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Jonathan Mata, 18, was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Mustang driver evades police after driving though crash investigation

HOUSTON, TX - A Mustang driver went around a roadblock set up by Harris County Sheriff deputies and drove into an active crash investigation scene earlier today on Kirby @ Beltway 8. Deputies attempted to get him to stop, but the driver decided the better course of action was to evade them and decided to take off. Fortunately, no deputies were injures. The crash involved a semi-tractor and a passenger vehicle, and the roadway was shut down for several hours as officers investigated. One person was transported to the hospital from that crash and is expected to be okay.
