The individual was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two vehicles did remain at the scene. The intersection remains closed as the investigation continues. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office District 2 responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch around 10:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Salter near Hardy. https://youtu.be/pMEhR7rwILI When deputies arrived, they found a Hispanic man in his 20s inside the vehicle with multiple apparent gunshot wounds. EMS responded and pronounced the man deceased at the scene. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit was called out and is investigating. Preliminary information indicates the victim met with another individual at a nearby store, and during a conversation, the vehicle later crashed into a ditch. The shooter fled the scene.
