HARRIS COUNTY, TX - The alleged shooter in the killing of off-duty Harris County Precinct 3 Deputy Constable Omar Ursin has been taken into custody. According to court documents, Douglas Wooten rolled down the back window of a vehicle and fired four shots at the car Ursin was driving. Ursin then crashed into a tree and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Court documents also reveal that Wooten claimed he fired because Ursin allegedly pointed a gun at him and others. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating 58-year-old Timothy "Tim" Bristow, who was reported missing on December 3, 2024. Bristow was last seen leaving his home near Jersey Village in a black Jeep Grand Cherokee with Texas license plate NVL1819. He is described as 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 195 pounds. Details of his clothing at the time of his disappearance are unknown.
