ANGLETON, TX – The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a tragic shooting that left two children deceased and two others injured early Saturday morning. Deputies were dispatched around 4:48 a.m. to a report of a shooting involving multiple children. Evidence indicates that 31-year-old Oninda Romelus, the mother of the four children, was the suspected shooter. All four children sustained gunshot wounds. A 13-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl were pronounced deceased at the scene. An 8-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl were flown to a Houston-area hospital, where they remain in stable condition.
