HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in the 8500 block of FM-1960 East. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the collision involved a motorcycle and a truck. One adult male was confirmed deceased at the scene. An adult female who was transported by Life Flight was later also confirmed deceased. The investigation is ongoing.

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A man was arrested after deputies found him unconscious with a handgun in his hand in the drive-thru of a McDonald’s in the 27500 block of Cypresswood Drive. The incident occurred around 11:12 p.m. on September 10, 2025. Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded and located the male driver, identified as Cameron Bennett, passed out with a handgun in his left hand. Deputies secured the weapon before detaining him. According to Constable Mark Herman, Bennett was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. AUSTIN, TX – Jesse Carrillo, 33, was arrested on multiple felony charges after Austin Police executed a search warrant at a residence on Red River Street as part of a drug trafficking investigation. According to the Austin Police Department, the Narcotics Support Unit served the warrant on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at a home located at 91 Red River Street. The operation followed a prolonged investigation focused on drug activity in the Downtown Area Command and East Austin. Carrillo was arrested at the scene without incident. BEAUMONT, TX – Beaumont Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run after a man was found deceased in a grassy median along the highway on Sunday morning. Upon arrival, police determined the individual appeared to be the victim of a hit-and-run crash. HOUSTON, TX – Houston police have arrested 54-year-old John Guy Tucker in connection with a deadly shooting that left a woman dead and a man critically injured at a residence on Mount Pleasant Street. The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. on August 16 at 3804 Mount Pleasant Street. According to the Houston Police Department Homicide Division, officers arrived to find 51-year-old Angela Perry unresponsive in the living room with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics. A 67-year-old man was also found in a bedroom with multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a hospital in critical condition. LIBERTY COUNTY, TX – Jose Osman Aguilar Cantillano, a criminal illegal immigrant from Honduras, has been added to Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List following a deadly bar shooting in Colony Ridge. Cantillano is wanted for murder in connection with a shooting that occurred during the early morning hours of September 7, 2025, at a bar in Colony Ridge. TEXAS CITY, TX – Jennifer Renee Laird, the communications director for the City of Texas City, was arrested Thursday morning on a felony warrant for online harassment. According to the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, deputies with the Fugitive Apprehension Division took Laird into custody at approximately 8:45 a.m. in the 1800 block of 9th Avenue North. The warrant, obtained by the La Marque Police Department, charges Laird with online harassment – name/persona to create page, a third-degree felony. Jester Boulevard. After an extensive search, the individuals who fled were not located, and the perimeter was terminated. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A simple traffic stop in the 24100 block of Aldine Westfield Road led to two arrests and the involvement of federal immigration authorities. According to Constable Mark Herman, Pct. 4, deputies initiated the stop for a traffic violation. During the investigation, one suspect was found to have an active warrant, while another was discovered to have an ICE detainer. Constable Herman’s Office reported that the second suspect attempted to flee from ICE custody but was quickly captured by deputies. Both individuals were taken into custody without further incident.
