Woman accused of stealing thousands from H-E-B detained on Kuykendahl, turned over to immigration by Pct. 4 deputies

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office detained a woman near the 25000 block of Kuykendahl Road after she was accused of shoplifting. Investigators said the woman initially gave deputies a false name. Further investigation revealed she is a habitual theft suspect believed to have stolen thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from multiple H-E-B stores in both Harris and Montgomery counties. Constable Precinct 4 deputies also stated the woman had an active immigration hold. She was released to immigration authorities at the scene. No additional details have been released at this time.

Driver arrested on DWI 2nd offense on North Freeway

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A driver was arrested on the 17000 block of the North Freeway after displaying multiple signs of intoxication. The driver was identified as Jose Gonzalez Castillo. Deputies administered a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and determined he was intoxicated. Further investigation revealed that Castillo had a prior conviction for Driving While Intoxicated. According to Constable Mark Herman, Castillo was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. He is charged with Driving While Intoxicated – 2nd Offense. His bond was set at $100 out of County Court 4.

HOUSTON, TX – Shell Oil Products US announced the return of The Giving Pump, a charitable initiative now in its fifth year, encouraging customers to support local organizations by fueling up at designated purple pumps at Shell stations across the country. Houston man arrested in fatal shooting of uncle on West Bellfort

HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police have arrested a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 8300 West Bellfort around 6:50 p.m. on August 26. The suspect, Jacque Jamar Malveaux, 41, is charged with murder and unlawful possession of a firearm in the 180th Criminal District Court. He was arrested without incident on September 8 with assistance from HPD’s Southeast Patrol Tactical Unit and South Gessner Tactical Unit. The victim, identified as 52-year-old Shawn Malveaux, was the suspect’s uncle. Man arrested after threatening to kill deputy during traffic stop in northeast Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A man was arrested after making a terroristic threat against a deputy during a traffic stop in the 5300 block of FM 1960 Road East. According to Constable Mark Herman, the incident occurred around 1:49 a.m. on September 7, 2025. During the stop, a male identified as Trey Gibson approached the scene, interfered with the investigation, and refused to leave after being given several lawful commands. When the deputy made contact, Gibson allegedly threatened to kill him. Gibson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for terroristic threat against a public servant. His bond was set at $15,000 out of the 495th District Court.

Pct. 4 constable deputies investigating after child struck by car that fled the scene

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office are investigating an auto-pedestrian crash in Atascocita in the 6800 block of Hot Creek Trace near Fountain Lilly Drive. According to deputies, a juvenile riding a scooter was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The incident is being investigated as a failure to stop and render aid (FSRA). The child’s injuries appear to be non-life-threatening at this time but they did suffer a hand injury. More information will follow if it becomes available. .
