Drivers honked their horns, while their passengers (both kids and adults alike) screamed out the windows and sunroofs with excitement after learning the Astros had secured the 2022 World Series title. Caught on Camera: Driver collides with deer on Will Clayton Pkwy in northeast Harris County

In typical deer fashion, a deer decided to cross a busy street as soon as cars were coming and it was caught on camera, shown below (It is not too gory, but viewer discretion is advised). Spoiler Alert: It did not end well for the deer. https://www.youtube.com/embed/dnSgfzmvcIU The incident happened around 11:43 a.m. on November 1, 2022. Deviating from Houston Stringer's usual course of trying to not be part of the story, this footage was captured on my dashcam. While I do not recommend the dashcam I bought (see the "0 mph"?), I do highly recommend that every driver purchases a dashcam, for a variety of reasons. In this case, colliding with a deer in what for all intents and purposes is in a city, may have your insurance company asking questions. A dashcam answers these very eas...

Car wash outside Houston becomes haunted just in time for Halloween with a ‘Tunnel of Terror”

Want something new and different to do this Halloween? One car wash in the Houston area has now transformed its car wash tunnel into a 'Tunnel of Terror'. https://youtube.com/shorts/HkCDdxavdq4?feature=share Tommy's car wash, in Humble, a suburb in northeast Harris County has transformed its car wash tunnel into a "Tunnel of Terror", and deems itself as the "best-haunted car wash experience". While it is "family-friendly" be forewarned that your kids may be crying before they even enter the 'Tunnel of Terror' as ghouls, goblins, and the like make the rounds while you wait in line. As you approach the 'Tunnel of Terror' an employee stresses the importance of leaving your car in neutral and not pressing the gas, no matter what you hear or see in the tunnel. (Despite the realist...
