THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS - Feb. 14, 2024 - A multi-vehicle collision occurred on the southbound I-45 feeder in front of The Woodlands Mall at 6 p.m. this evening, resulting in one fatality. The Woodlands Fire Department (TWFD) and Montgomery County Hospital District were dispatched to the scene following the crash. Montgomery County Sheriff's Office deputies were the first to arrive, immediately initiating CPR on one individual. The report, made by a caller who observed the suspects stealing mail and fleeing in a Lincoln Town Car, prompted deputies to swiftly locate and stop the suspect vehicle. Amanda, who requires support from her adult family members due to her autism, was wearing a short-sleeved shirt, black and white floral pants, and sandals at the time of her disappearance.
