HOUSTON, TX – Officers responded to a crash involving an HPD patrol vehicle and a civilian vehicle in the 10100 block of South Gessner late last night. https://youtu.be/1ZsBKh8uoTM Preliminary information indicates the civilian vehicle was traveling south on Gessner and attempted to turn left into an apartment complex when it collided with the northbound patrol unit. After the impact, the patrol vehicle went through the apartment gate and struck an apartment building. The driver and passenger of the patrol unit were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the civilian vehicle was also transported with minor injuries. He was in stable condition and transported to a hospital. Police said the teen was shot at an unknown location by an unknown suspect and then walked back to the complex, where he was found by his friend. Suspect arrested in 2016 fatal shooting on Concourse

HOUSTON, TX – A suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man at 9400 Concourse around 4:35 a.m. on October 15, 2016 has been taken into custody. According to the Houston Police Department, 26-year-old Keven Xavier Rios is charged with capital murder in the 487th Criminal District Court. The victim was identified as 73-year-old James Fleming Bowman. Police stated that Bowman was in his vehicle when an armed suspect approached and attempted to remove him from the car. A physical struggle followed, during which Bowman was shot. Investigators identified Rios as the suspect, and on November 13, members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force arrested him in Freeport, Texas. HOUSTON, TX – Houston police have filed charges against a suspect accused of fatally shooting a man at 3107 Blalock Road around 4 p.m. on Nov. 7. According to the Houston Police Department, officers arrived at the location and found 50-year-old Gerardo Villalobos Salgado inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene. Investigators identified the suspect as 41-year-old Edwin Leonel Caal Gill. He has been charged with murder in the 185th Criminal District Court and remains at-large.
