According to police, a rideshare driver captured the collision on dashcam video. The driver fled the scene, and the woman was transported to a hospital. Minutes later, officers found a vehicle in the 2200 block of Bevis. The driver was detained and the vehicle was brought to the auto-pedestrian crash scene, but as of the last check with HPD, no one has been detained in connection with the hit-and-run. The investigation is ongoing.

HOUSTON, TX – Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 6633 West Airport Boulevard at 12:30 a.m. on January 29, 2019. The suspect, Trevon Demitri Lewis, 28, is charged with murder in the 337th Criminal District Court. The victim has been identified as Terry Clark, 44. According to the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division, Clark was found deceased inside his apartment at the location. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire and then saw two men flee the apartment and leave in a white SUV. Further investigation identified Lewis as a suspect.
