WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX Oct. 12, 2025 - According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and first responders were dispatched at approximately 9:00 a.m. to the 5800 block of Parma Lane, outside the city limits of Round Rock, for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, deputies located a female victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim, 43-year-old Tariro Ikpe, was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced deceased despite lifesaving efforts. Detectives have determined the incident to be a domestic violence-related homicide. The victim’s husband, 65-year-old Ekong Ikpe, was taken into custody and has been charged with murder. GALVESTON COUNTY, TX – A man was killed by his own dogs in Bacliff following a fatal mauling that occurred on October 12, 2025, according to the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded around the 400 block of Louisiana Avenue after receiving reports of a dog attack. Witnesses stated the victim’s two pit bull breed dogs were seen actively attacking him in the yard. When deputies arrived, one of the dogs was still latched onto the victim’s arm. A deputy fired his weapon, striking the dog in the center mass, which caused it to release the victim and retreat.
