AUSTIN, TX – A man was found deceased with “obvious trauma” at the Frontier Valley Mobile Home Park Saturday night, according to the Austin Police Department. APD provides update on homicide at Frontier Valley Mobile Home Park (Facebook) Officers responded around 10:30 p.m. to the 1400 block of Frontier Valley Drive after receiving a high-priority “shoot stab hot shot” call. Upon arrival, officers located a Hispanic male with “obvious trauma” and immediately began medical aid until Austin-Travis County EMS and the Austin Fire Department arrived. The victim was pronounced deceased at approximately 10:56 p.m. The incident is being investigated as Austin's 44th homicide of 2025. Police said the victim was found on private property. LEWISVILLE, TX – A shooting investigation is underway in the 300 block of East Round Grove Road, according to the Lewisville Police Department. The suspect has been taken into custody, and the victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police stated there is no threat to the public. KINGWOOD, TX – A man believed to be wanted on multiple charges, including felony assault, was involved in a standoff with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team on Thursday at a residence in the 2000 block of Shadow Rock Drive near Kingwood and Woodland Hills Drives. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, deputies were serving a warrant for a 46-year-old male suspect facing a felony assault charge in Harris County and a possible protective order violation in Montgomery County. AUSTIN, TX – The Austin Police Department is continuing its investigation into an officer-involved shooting that occurred in the early morning hours of September 10, 2025, in the 700 block of Azie Morton Road near Zilker Park. According to APD, officers were conducting a curfew check around 3:31 a.m. when they located a stolen vehicle. After calling for a tow, most officers departed to patrol other areas while Officer Adam Reinhart remained at the scene. At approximately 4:10 a.m., two individuals approached the tow truck driver, claiming ownership of the vehicle. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in the 8500 block of FM-1960 East. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the collision involved a motorcycle and a truck. One adult male was confirmed deceased at the scene. An adult female who was transported by Life Flight was later also confirmed deceased. The investigation is ongoing.

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A man was arrested after deputies found him unconscious with a handgun in his hand in the drive-thru of a McDonald’s in the 27500 block of Cypresswood Drive. The incident occurred around 11:12 p.m. on September 10, 2025. Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded and located the male driver, identified as Cameron Bennett, passed out with a handgun in his left hand. Deputies secured the weapon before detaining him. According to Constable Mark Herman, Bennett was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
