HOUSTON, TX – A man was shot and killed outside his family’s home in the 7100 block of Sonnet Glen around 12:43 a.m this morning. https://youtu.be/jBnX40HtcMM Deputies responded to a call for service and found a 36-year-old male unresponsive with a gunshot wound. EMS personnel arrived and pronounced him deceased at the scene. According to investigators, the victim’s parents were inside the home when they heard a gunshot. They discovered him lying in the walkway leading to the front entrance. The victim lived at the residence with his parents and several other relatives. Stolen vehicle pursuit ends with crash into home, injuring man in bed

HOUSTON, TX – A brief police pursuit ended around 2 a.m. after a suspect crashed a stolen vehicle into a home in the 6700 block of Cotton. https://youtu.be/upzzbxiMxJM Officers had spotted the stolen vehicle they were searching for in the area and initiated a short pursuit. After officers used an approved stopping technique, the driver lost control and crashed into a home. The suspect fled the scene on foot following the crash but was detained by officers shortly after. A 25-year-old man, who was in bed inside the home at the time of the crash, sustained injuries. He was transported by the Houston Fire Department to a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

Multi-county pursuit ends after driver goes off road

HOUSTON, TX – A law enforcement pursuit that began around 11:50 p.m. in Houston traveled across multiple counties before ending near Cleveland, Texas, shortly after 12:30 a.m. https://youtu.be/UT00AEpWPDg The chase reportedly started somewhere in the loop. The driver continued north through Harris and Montgomery counties before ending up in Liberty County. The pursuit ended when the driver exited the roadway near Majnik and Dudley on the U.S. 59 North Bypass, using the U-turn under the Eastex Freeway in Cleveland. The driver, who was operating a pickup truck, was evaluated by EMS on scene but was not transported to a hospital. The pursuit may have been initiated on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
