The suspect did not comply with officers’ verbal commands to exit the residence. Water was seen flowing along Fannin Street from Prairie down to the intersection at Preston. The extent of the damage and the cause of the flooding have not yet been confirmed.

Police said the woman was outside her vehicle when she was hit by another vehicle. The suspect vehicle reportedly fled the scene. No additional details have been released at this time. HOUSTON, TX – A 2-year-old girl was fatally struck by a pickup truck driven by her adult brother at an apartment complex in southeast Houston. https://youtu.be/ij0dI0eAEKw The incident occurred around 9:54 p.m. on Saturday in the 7900 block of Leonora. According to police, the child ran into the parking lot roadway area while playing with a sibling as a family member was unloading groceries. Her brother, who was reportedly unaware she was behind the truck, began backing up and struck her. Family members immediately stopped the vehicle, rendered aid, and called 911. Houston Fire Department medics transported the child to Texas Children’s Hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased. HOUSTON, TX – A driver was killed after a crash involving two vehicles in southwest Houston early Saturday morning. https://youtu.be/4WVJMB4edcg The crash occurred around 3:02 a.m. at the intersection of 9701 W. Bellfort Avenue and South Sam Houston Parkway West. According to investigators, a Volkswagen struck another vehicle that was stopped at a red light. The decedent was in the vehicle that was hit, which has not yet been identified. Both vehicles had only one occupant, and intoxication is suspected pending further investigation. HOUSTON, TX – The ex-boyfriend of a woman was shot and killed in southeast Houston early Sunday morning. According to Houston Police, the incident happened in the 3100 block of Isabella Street around 4 a.m. when the ex-boyfriend forced his way into the woman’s apartment through a window and began assaulting her male friend. The friend then pulled a gun and shot him. The Houston Fire Department then arrived and transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
