Officers located a Hispanic male in his early 30s who had sustained two gunshot wounds to the upper extremities. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival. No suspect information or motive is known at this time. HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning on the Katy Freeway service road in west Houston. https://youtu.be/RT3i7eVJrMc The crash occurred around 2:26 a.m. on July 5 along the westbound feeder road near the 900 block of W. Sam Houston Parkway North. This was in front of the HCC Spring Branch campus. According to HPD’s Vehicular Crimes Division, a male in his 20s or 30s lost control of the vehicle and crashed. He was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash. It is unknown at this time if intoxication played a role. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers with the Houston Police Department’s South Central Division responded to a shooting call and located a male victim lying in the street. They began performing CPR until Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Police said the victim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
