There are no reported injuries, but multiple families have been displaced from their apartments. The two began arguing during the drive, and the situation escalated into a physical altercation upon arrival. During the struggle, the victim was shot once and killed. The suspect does not live at the location, but the victim resided there with another family member.

Police stated they have a good identification on the suspects, though no descriptions are being released at this time. The Major Assaults Division has been notified and is conducting the investigation.

While the officer was blocking the entry ramp, a pickup truck struck the patrol vehicle, causing significant damage and injuring the officer. The officer was transported to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition. The driver of the pickup truck is in custody, and investigators believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
