The confrontation, which took place around 3:30 a.m., resulted in both the suspect and a 60-year-old resident being shot. The resident had noticed two black males trespassing on his property through a breach in the fence, as seen on his surveillance footage. Armed with a pistol, he confronted the trespassers, which led to a shootout. The resident was shot in the leg but is expected to recover.
