November 20, 2022 - A jeep hit a power pole at the corner of Will Clayton Pkwy and Cascade House in front of the Woodland Pines subdivision before coming to a stop in a ditch. In a notification sent to customers just before 4 a.m., CenterPoint stated there were about 4,989 customers without power in the area. At this time, it is not known what caused the crash. Two other gunshot victims, both Hispanic males involved in the shooting made their way to a snowcone shop down the street. Paramedics were called to the scene and took both of them to a local hospital for treatment. November 19, 2022 - The Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of a fire in the 18200 block of Enchanted Rock Trail in Atascocita, TX around 5:30 p.m. Firefighters were able to quickly put out the flames. November 18, 2022 - According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, a local businesswoman was followed by two suspects to her home in the 5400 block of Melody Park Ln. in north Houston. A neighbor believes he heard four gunshots as he was leaving for dinner just after 7 p.m. The woman, police say was exiting her vehicle after parking inside the garage when four suspects began to assault her. Another woman inside the home called 9-1-1. When Harris Cunty Sheriff's deputies arrived, they saw two masked men leaving the home. One of these men pointed a weapon at deputies and one of the deputies discharged their weapon at the man and wound him. He was taken to a local hospital and was treated for his injuries.
