HOUSTON, TX – Several streets in downtown Houston will be closed tomorrow for the memorial service of fallen Houston Firefighter Marcelo “Ox” Garcia III. The closures, announced by the Houston Firefighters Association, will begin at 6 a.m. and are expected to affect traffic in the area until noon. The woman reportedly pursued him in a separate vehicle, and during the chase, she allegedly rammed his vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and collide with an awning. Both individuals were transported to a hospital. The man is reported to be in good condition, while the woman remains in surgery in critical condition.

HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police are investigating an accident t where a pedestrian was struck twice by vehicles on the Southwest Freeway frontage road. The collision occurred around 8:05 p.m. on November 10 in the 6100 block of the SW Freeway. According to the driver of a red sedan, he was on the exit ramp when he struck a pedestrian who was reportedly running across the lane. The impact reportedly threw the pedestrian into a lane on the service road, where they were hit a second time by a white vehicle, possibly an SUV, which left the scene.
