HOUSTON, TX – April 29, 2025 – A man was found shot to death inside a home on Ludington Drive near Fondren Road and West Bellfort Avenue in southwest Houston late Monday night. The photo above was sent in by one of our viewers via tips@houstonstringer.com Investigators at this time believe a robbery may have taken place prior to the shooting. Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage and speaking with witnesses to establish a timeline of events . The victim has not been publicly identified. The investigation is ongoing. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A motorcyclist was killed during a crash on the Katy Freeway in west Harris County, according to Constable Terry Allbritton's Office. Photo Credit: Harris County Constable Pct. 5 Deputies responded to the scene where three motorcycles were traveling westbound in the diamond lanes of the Katy Freeway near Greenhouse Road. Preliminary reports indicate that two of the motorcycles lost control, causing one of the drivers to fall into the general-purpose lanes of the freeway. The rider was then struck by another vehicle. One motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. Another rider was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, homicide detectives with the Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting scene early Monday morning at a residence in the 16000 block of Dehay Lane. Around 4 a.m., deputies found 21-year-old Elijah Edwards deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators determined that prior to the shooting, Edwards and several known males were at the residence when an argument broke out. The dispute escalated into a physical fight, during which Edwards was shot. Detectives have charged Xavier Garcia, born March 3, 2005, with murder in connection to Edwards' death. CYPRESS, TX – A heavy police presence was reported Monday in the 16000 block of Dehay Lane in the Stablewood Farms subdivision following a deadly shooting. Photo courtesy of Constable Mark Herman, Precinct 4 Deputies responded to the scene and located a 30-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound. According to authorities, EMS personnel pronounced the man deceased at the scene. The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. HOUSTON, TX – Three teenagers were hospitalized after a drive-by shooting early Monday morning in northeast Houston, according to the Houston Police Department. The photo above was sent in by one of our viewers via tips@houstonstringer.com The shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Tuck Street, south of I-10 in the Denver Harbor area. According to the Houston Police Department, the three victims, including a 14-year-old, were transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds and are in stable condition. Investigators believe the shooting was a drive-by but have not yet determined a motive.

HOUSTON, TX – Two people were shot while sitting in a vehicle early Monday morning on Gillette Street in the Montrose area. The photo above was sent in by one of our viewers via tips@houstonstringer.com According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting occurred around 12:20 a.m. when a suspect walked up to the car and opened fire. Two occupants inside the vehicle were struck by gunfire. Two other individuals inside the car were not injured and are speaking with investigators. HOUSTON, TX – A man was shot and killed late Sunday night in a parking lot on Ocee Street, following what police believe may have been an argument over a parking spot. According to police, the victim was shot multiple times and was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The suspected shooter remained at the scene and is currently in police custody but it's not known if he will face any charges at this time.
