2 dead after Amtrak Train Hits Vehicle in Northeast Harris County An Amtrak train (#824) hit a vehicle Saturday April 16, 2022 in Northeast Harris County in the 120000 Block of Beaumont Hwy @ Van Hut Ln after a car (possibly a Chrysler 300) tried to go around crossing arms that were activated. The vehicle had two occupants and bursted into flames after impact. One person was found deceased in the vehicle. The 2nd person was ejected and found nearby, also deceased according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. Investigators are still on scene. This video is managed by Newsflare. Houston Police investigated a crash scene on the 610 feeder road (East) @ Wayside, after a motorcycle driver lost control of the motorbike around 3 a.m. on April 16, 2022. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital.

Firefighters responded to a report of a fire at the Spring Creek Barbeque (Atascocita location) locate at 5613 Farm to Market 1960 Rd E, Humble, TX 77346. Police broke up an illegal “takeover” in Spring late Saturday night (April 5, 2022). This takeover was in the Whole Foods parking lot located at 10133 Louetta Rd, Houston, TX 77070 on the corner of Cutten and Louetta. The crowd dispersed peacefully and no arrests were observed.
