HOUSTON, TX – A multi-vehicle crash on the North Freeway resulted in the death of an unidentified male driver Saturday night. The incident occurred at approximately 8:55 p.m. in the 16000 block of the North Freeway on the main lanes. According to preliminary findings, a silver 2015 Honda Civic, traveling northbound, failed to control its speed and struck the back of a silver 2022 Kia SUV. The impact caused the Kia to lose control and be struck again by a silver 2018 BMW sedan. Occupants of the Kia and BMW were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries. The driver of the Honda Civic, who was not wearing a seat belt, was found with no signs of life at the scene by Harris County ESD 11 EMS. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A pedestrian was struck and killed in a crash on Highway 6 just north of Bellaire Boulevard. https://youtu.be/7eV1gStBxKA The incident occurred around 10:02 p.m. when a 70-year-old female driver traveling northbound on Highway 6 struck a pedestrian crossing westbound on foot. The pedestrian, described as a Hispanic male between 50 and 60 years old, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Speed and intoxication do not appear to be factors at this time. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a family disturbance at the Starwood Farms Townhomes where a woman was repeatedly stabbed by her adult son. https://youtu.be/iDblvNih25k The incident occurred inside a unit at the apartment complex, where deputies discovered the injured woman and detained the suspect at the scene. Both the victim and the suspect sustained injuries during the altercation and were transported to the hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition.
