67-Year-Old Suspect Confesses to Fatally Stabbing Woman in Houston

HOUSTON, July 15, 2024 – Ralph Sample, 67, has been charged with murder in connection with the stabbing death of Paulette Francis, 62. The incident occurred at 8435 Tidwell Road around 2:55 p.m. on Monday. Houston Police Department (HPD) officers discovered Francis unresponsive, covered by blankets, following a report of a deceased person at the location. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene. An investigation revealed that Francis had sustained multiple stab wounds. A witness who visited the location to check on Francis found her unresponsive, leading to further investigation. Sample, the victim's partner, was identified as the suspect. The Newsflare Homepage Newsflare did not specify which AI companies will be using the videos for training purposes but did give creators a way to opt-out if they do not want their videos to participate. It should be noted that Newsflare has automatically enrolled videos into the new program. Police believe a man who murdered a woman may have fled to Mexico

HOUSTON, July 18, 2024 – Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman. The shooting occurred in the 11900 block of 7th Street at approximately 1:15 p.m. on April 21, 2024. Back in April, HPD was called after a report of a shooting. There, they found the victim, Rosenda Garcia Hernandez unresponsive in her vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Houston Fire Department. According to the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division, witnesses stated at the time that a man walked up to Garcia Hernandez's vehicle before shooting multiple times into the vehicle. Man dies after being struck by pickup truck

HOUSTON, TX - A man is dead after being struck by a pickup truck Saturday night. This accident happened in the 8500 block of Mykawa just before midnight. According to police the man, believed to be in his 30s was either walking or running down the dark street when a pickup truck struck him and killed him. The driver of the pickup truck did stay at the scene but was detained after showing signs of intoxication.

HOUSTON, TX - A man is recovering after he was shot in the neck by a motorcyclist in west Houston. According to the Houston Police Department, the man was walking in the 1300 block of Witte Rd. when a motorcyclist approached him and opened fire. The man was transported to the hospital and was able to provide a detailed description of the suspect. The suspect was then located by HPD and taken into custody via traffic stop. The man is expected to survive.

At one point during the altercation, he was stabbed one time in the chest. He was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. HOUSTON, TX - A man was found dead in a storage shed Saturday night in the 2200 block of Milam in Midtown. According to the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division, two citizens were waiting for a bus when they were flagged down three other citizen's who stated there was a dead person in the shed. An adult male was found inside the shed and it is believed he may have died from blunt force trauma.

HOUSTON, TX - A man was killed last night after an argument over a parking space turned deadly. The shooting happened at the Ltd. by Greystar apartment complex located at 12806 Buffalo Speedway around 6:45 p.m. Saturday evening. According to Acting Chief Satterwhite of the Houston Police Department, a fight broke out between two groups of males and females over a parking space. The man pulled out a firearm and shot one fired into the air. Other males pulled out handguns as well and fired at him. At one point a possible family member of the man drove over him while trying to flee the scene. The man was transported to a local hospital where he later died. They were drinking outside when an argument occurred between the two men. One of the males, the homeowner grabbed a pistol and shot the roommate, a white male who is 58 years old. The shooter is currently detained and is said to be cooperating with the investigation. Charges maybe referred to a grand jury.
