HOUSTON, TEXAS (December 30, 2023) - At approximately 8:45 PM, a group of males was walking through an apartment complex at 800 West Greens. During this time, an unknown suspect opened fire on the group. One of the individuals was struck in the abdomen. Seeking help after being separated from the group, the injured victim knocked on several doors for help before one opened. He was then taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

HOUSTON, TX (December 31, 2023) Last night, there was a party at an Airbnb property in the 4400 block of Greeley where guests were watching a football game. One of the attendees, a neighbor was invited to join the party to watch the game. After the game, the neighbor left the party and returned with a large knife and attacked one of the party attendees for unknown reasons. This happened around 1 a.m. The victim who was stabbed in the shoulder then went to his vehicle, retrieved a firearm, and attempted to shoot the suspect as he fled. The suspect is described as an African-American male in his late twenties to early thirties, wearing all black and not considered a public threat. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

HOUSTON, TX - December 29, 2023 - A 16-year-old boy was shot in an incident near West Gulf Bank and Streamside around 11:00 PM. The victim, shot through the arm with the bullet possibly entering his torso, was walking with friends when a car approached. According to the teen, a couple of individuals exited the vehicle and opened fire. The group managed to make it back to his house.

HOUSTON, TX (Dec. 30, 2023) - According to police, at approximately 1:29 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Hussion Street in response to a violent altercation. The incident involved an exchange of gunshots between an individual and a security guard. The injured security guard received immediate medical attention and was taken to a local hospital for surgery. The suspect fled the scene, and their identity remains unknown. Houston Police are investigating and request that anyone with information contact their Major Assaults unit or Crimestoppers.

HOUSTON, TX (Dec. 30, 2023) - According to police, an adult male was shot in the arm in Houston. He was dropped off at a club by a female friend. Unable to locate another friend inside, he texted the woman outside that he was returning. As he walked down the road, a black, older, smaller sedan passed by. The female witness then heard two gunshots and saw the victim, her friend, with a gunshot wound in his arm. The victim was uncertain why he was shot and did not know who would want to shoot him. HOUSTON, TEXAS - December 30, 2023 - A Wendy's worker in Houston was shot in the leg during a robbery. This took place at the Durham location near I-10. The suspect, a black male in his mid-forties wearing all black and some type of wig, confronted the victim while he was taking out the trash. The employee tried to block the suspect from entering through the back door of the Wendy's but the suspect decided to shoot him in the leg. After entering the restaurant and threatening others with the gun, the suspect attempted to access the cash registers but left empty-handed. HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A tragic two-vehicle collision on Friday, December 22, 2023, in north Harris County resulted in the death of one individual and the hospitalization of two others, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred in the 14500 block of the North Freeway, impacting the northbound lanes. Following the crash, these lanes were closed for approximately five hours to facilitate the investigation by the authorities. The collision involved a man in his 50s, who was driving with his grandson. Their vehicle crashed into the rear of another car, which subsequently caught fire, leading to the death of its driver at the scene.
