HOUSTON, TEXAS – Nov. 17, 2023, 11:47 p.m., a vehicle accident occurred on FM 1942 at Sralla in Houston. Two persons were transported to the hospital. Lifeflight was called for one of the victims. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred after a vehicle crossed the center divider. The driver responsible for the crash is being investigated for possible intoxication charges.

HOUSTON, TEXAS – At approximately 1:55 a.m., North Belt Patrol officers responded to a shooting on the 1050 block of West Rankin Road. Upon arrival, they found a black male with a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. Additionally, a Hispanic male, transported by a private vehicle to the same hospital, was found to have been shot multiple times and is currently in critical condition. Initial reports indicate that the incident started when the black male, along with other males, attempted to enter a club but were denied entry. The incident involved a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by an adult female, and a 2013 Toyota Tacoma, driven by an adult male. The preliminary investigation indicates the Silverado was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed without headlights, crossed the center line, and collided with the Tacoma. HOUSTON, TEXAS - The Houston Police Department has released the names of six individuals who died in a traffic accident at 2000 Fannin Street around 2 a.m. on Saturday, November 11. The deceased are Izuchu Oragwu, 31, Frank Johnson, 31, Zachary McMillian, 32, Derek Hayden, 33, Christian Herrera, 25, and Lauren Robinson, 32. The incident occurred when a black Acura SUV, driven by Ms. Robinson and heading eastbound on Pierce Street, entered the intersection with Fannin Street on a green light. Simultaneously, a black Chrysler 300 driven by Mr. Herrera, traveling southbound on Fannin Street at a high rate of speed, ran a red light and collided with the Acura.
