The fire ignited late last night, approximately at 11:30 p.m., damaging the exterior of the establishment. Prompt action by the Villages Fire Department and the Houston Fire Department swiftly brought the fire under control, preventing further damage.

Atascocita - September 10, 2023 - According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, Pct. 4 deputies responded to the 5300 block of Deer Timbers Trail in Atascocita, TX. When they arrived, they found a male, believed to be a teen had been shot. Police believe the incident took place in a wooded area in the Atascocita North subdivision.

An 18-wheeler overturned in the 13700 block of Eastex Freeway near Lauder in Houston and flipped over into the feeder lanes. There were no fatalities, but one person was taken to the hospital according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

August 27, 2023 - Houston, TX - The Houston Fire Department's Arson unit is investigating a fire that broke out at an Airbnb rental in the 1700 block of Winter St. around 5 a.m. According to a press release from the Houston Fire Department: - The American Red Cross was called in to assist the renters after the Airbnb property's management could not be reached. - The fire originated on the front porch and caused an estimated $25,000 in damage. - A total of 32 HFD personnel responded to the incident. - No injuries were reported. - HFD Arson is still investigating the cause of the fire.

HOUSTON, TEXAS, August 25, 2023 - An officer-involved shooting occurred today at the Urban Palms Apartments, located at 8701 Town Park. The incident, involving a domestic disturbance, fortunately resulted in no injuries, according to Houston Police Department authorities. West Side Division officers initially responded to a 4 a.m. call concerning a dispute between a man and his girlfriend. Upon arriving, officers found that the couple had engaged in an argument while the woman was attempting to remove personal items from the residence. The male suspect discharged several shots into the air before fleeing the scene in an older model Honda Accord, which belonged to his girlfriend. Officers returned to the area around 9 p.m. and located the stolen Honda Accord at the 2900 block of Rogerdale...

HOUSTON, TEXAS, August 26, 2023 - Houston Police Department officers are currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at the Oakwood Gardens Condominiums located at 5600 Antoine. The incident reportedly began with a domestic disturbance between a 20-year-old pregnant female resident and a male, believed to be her boyfriend. The male forcefully entered the woman's residence, situated at the back of the apartment complex, kicking in the door and physically assaulting her. Afterward, the male made his way toward the front of the complex. At this point, a male relative of the assaulted female, along with the female herself, also moved to the front of the residence.
