Video: Two suspects were arrested after stealing dirtbikes from a motorsports dealer off the Eastex Freeway

Two people are in jail, including a teenager, after a brazen smash and grab in front of a major Houston area freeway early Monday morning. https://www.youtube.com/embed/IoKpZT8iE_Y LaQuinta Powell (19) and Curtis Washington (17), were arrested after breaking into K's Motorsports located at 17802 US-59, in Humble, TX. Officers with the Humble Police Department pulled them over in the 13900 block of Eastex Freeway, about 5 miles away around 12:50 a.m. on November 14, 2022, along with a Harris County Sheriff's Office Deputy. According to court documents, Powell’s bond was set at $10,000, while Washington’s bail was set at $3,000. Police caught up to the suspects and pulled them over around 12:50 a.m. in the 13900 block of the Eastex Freeway, on the southbound lanes. According to court documents, two suspects were taken into custody and charged with burglary of a building. Video: Man fatally shot behind a gas station in South Houston

https://youtu.be/y0fxs05Burc A man was fatally shot on November 12, 2022, around 11:30 p.m. in the 7400 block of Cullen Blvd in Southeast Houston behind a Shell gas station. Police arrived on the scene and discovered the man had been shot multiple times. After applying a tourniquet, paramedics arrived on the scene and pronounced the man deceased at the scene. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Houston Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

Video: Teen shot in east Houston while hanging out with friends

https://youtu.be/jMHP-cNqbyw According to HPD, around 1 a.m. on November 13, 2022, patrol units responded to a report of a shooting in the 200 block of North Hagerman. Upon arrival, the officers found a female juvenile who had been shot in the leg. Police determined there were several teens hanging out at the location around a fire when one of them brought out a handgun. It is still to be determined if the shooting was accidental or intentional but the teen is said to be in stable condition.

Two small makeshift memorials were created on November 1, 2022, after Migos rapper 'Takeoff' was shot outside a Houston Bowling Alley. https://www.youtube.com/embed/84QC9jnPK38 The first memorial can be found in the 1200 Block of Caroline. A second memorial, marked by a candle and a bracelet, was placed in the spot believed to be where 'Takeoff' was shot, can be found outside "810 Billiards & Bowling" on the 3rd floor of the GreenStreet shopping mall.
