18 year old arrested for stealing packages in a Houston area suburb; bond set for $100

A woman has been arrested for stealing packages from a home in the Atascocita Forest subdivision in Humble, TX, a suburb of Houston. According to court documents, Constables with Harris County Precinct 4 arrested Aryanna Chanae Jones (18) on November 30, 2022 around 5 p.m. She was booked into Harris County Jail and now is facing a misdemeanor charge stemming from her mail theft. It appears she does not have any prior charges in Harris County and her bond has been set at $100. Jones remains in jail at the time of this writing, but with the low bond amount, it is expected she will be out soon. Hopefully she refrains from being a porch pirate.

Police have identified Manny Diaz-Massa, shown below (on left) as the shooter. Virginia Deputy kills three, sets fire to home in California after meeting 15-year-old online

November 25, 2022 - Austin Lee Edwards, now a former Virginia police officer was killed in a shootout after he drove across the county, committed a triple homicide and set fire to a home in Riverside, California. He did this after ‘catfishing’ a teenage girl in to thinking he was a 17-year-old boy. Edwards killed both of her grandparents and her mother before setting the home on fire. Edwards was spotted driving with the teenager in San Bernardino County. He was killed by a deputy after exchanging gunfire when sheriff’s deputies tried to stop him. Police are still investigating and have not determined if it was a kidnapping but police stated they have no reason to believe she was complicit in the murders or fire. Uvalde parents, teachers, staff, and students are seeking billions in compensation in a new class action lawsuit

The families of victims, teachers, staff, and students have now filed a class action lawsuit in the United States District Court - Western District of Texas (Austin Division). The lawsuit alleges, what we already know about how police in Uvalde dropped the ball tremendously in securing the school from the active shooter that killed 21 people including 19 students and two teachers. Plaintiff's are seeking over $27 billion in compensation. The lawsuit names the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District, Uvalde School Police Department, (including Chief Pedro Arrendondo), and Texas Department of Public Safety, as well as others as defendants. Police find a vehicle with multiple bullet holes after responding to a major accident in Houston

November 28, 2022 - According to Lt. J.P. Horelica of the Houston Police Department, officers responded to a report of a major accident in the 9600 block of the Southwest Freeway in Houston. When officers arrived they found a black sedan with multiple bullet holes that crashed into a Jeep passing by after running a red light while they were being shot at by suspect(s) in a white vehicle. Police found two males in the back seat that had suffered gunshot wounds. Both of them were transported to a local hospital. One of the victims is said to be in stable condition while the other is said to be in critical condition. The occupants of the Jeep only suffered minor injuries and remained at the scene. Uber driver shot in Houston by rider after refusing to take rider to new destination

According to HPD, the incident happened just after 10 p.m. at the Shell Gas Station located at 2819 Quitman St. near the Eastex Freeway. Police say the Uber driver had two passengers in the backseat and he was transporting them to their destination after picking them up. At one point, the riders requested that he take them to a new destination. The driver refused, pulled over at the Shell Gas Station, and asked them to leave the vehicle. That is when police say the male rider, described as a Hispanic male in his early twenties with a goatee, between 5 foot 9 and 6 feet tall, decided to rob the driver instead. The male then pointed a pistol at the driver's hip and demanded his car and his cell phone. The driver refused. The male rider then shot him and fled the scene. The Uber driver was...
