Precinct 4 Constable Deputy murdered on his way to work

HOUSTON, TX - A shooting near the intersection of Richmond and Fondren took place Tuesday afternoon around 12:35 p.m. According to Chief Diaz of the Houston Police Department, the victim, a Precinct 4 Deputy was shot while on his way to work. He was transported to Ben Taub hospital where he was pronounced deceased. https://youtu.be/fWUfz7gUunU Police say the 50-year-old deputy was on his way to work when he was murdered by a suspect while in his personal car. The motive for the shooting remains unknown at this time. The suspect is described as an Asian/Middle Eastern male, 35-40 years old, about 5'9 220-225 lbs. Vehicle T-boned by semi on the East Freeway

HOUSTON, TX - A vehicle was t-boned by a semi Tuesday afternoon on the East Freeway. The accident occurred around noon on I-10. https://youtube.com/shorts/QKdGZKOi82U?feature=share At this time it is not known who caused the accident but it involved an 18-wheeler operated by Hallmark Trucking and a Silver Mazda 3. The freeway was cleared pretty quickly and there does not appear to be any major injuries.

Atascocita, TX - Neighbors are wondering what happened after a shooting triggered a large police presence in the Atascocita Meadows subdivision. His condition and what led up to the shooting remain unknown at this time. There were at least twenty evidence cards on the ground. Precinct 4 deputies with Constable Mark Herman's office are currently still investigating and we will update this story if we learn of any new information.

The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Man dies after losing control on the South Loop

HOUSTON, TX - A vehicle crash on the South Loop resulted in one fatality and one person injured early this morning. The incident occurred just before 1 a.m. in the 7100 block of South Loop East. According to police, the vehicle was traveling eastbound when the driver lost control, causing the car to go off the road. The vehicle flipped multiple times before crashing into a metal fence on the feeder road. Houston Fire Department (HFD) personnel had to extricate the driver from the vehicle. The male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene, while a female passenger was transported to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. Man dies after being found lying face down in street

HOUSTON, TX - A man is dead after being found lying face down in the street following an altercation. The incident occurred just after midnight in the 13800 block of Greenranch. According to police, deputies arrived to find the man lying face down, suffering from major blunt trauma. He was then transported to Kingwood Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. During the initial investigation, police learned that the victim had been at a dead end with other individuals when an altercation took place, leading to the assault.
