AUSTIN, TX – Governor Greg Abbott announced that the Office of the Governor’s Public Safety Office is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of Bobby Michael Dennis, who is wanted in connection with the shooting of a Jacksonville police officer and K-9. Warrants were issued by the Jacksonville Police Department for Dennis, 64, for aggravated assault against a public servant and interference with a police service animal. HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department responded to a shooting just before 9 p.m. in the 9600 block of Clarewood Drive, in Houston’s Chinatown area. https://youtu.be/0asJM1G050A According to HPD, a man was robbed in the 6300 block Westline (near Clarewood) when a gray car with two Hispanic males in their 20s pulled up. One of the suspects fired a shot into the air, and when the victim tried to get away, he was shot once and robbed. The victim was transported to a local hospital by Houston Fire Department crews and is in stable condition at this time. Police did find at least one shell casing at the scene.
