According to investigators, a suspect banged on the victim’s apartment door, leading to a fight that spilled into the parking lot. The suspects opened fire, striking a male and female in their early 20s. A third pedestrian was not struck. Houston Fire Department crews transported both victims to the hospital, where they remain in stable condition. A round may have struck a nearby hotel, but no one inside was injured. Officials said there should be clear video evidence from downtown cameras in the area.
