HOUSTON, TX – A felony murder charge has been filed against 32-year-old John Leathers in connection to the fatal shooting of a woman outside Club Aragon in southwest Houston. According to court documents, the incident occurred around 3 a.m. on October 12 in the parking lot of the nightclub located at 8150 Southwest Freeway. A family had been leaving the club when a large fight broke out involving the woman’s adult children and others. HOUSTON, TX – A woman was killed and a man was wounded in a shooting that began in the parking lot of Club Aragon and continued to the 8500 block of South Gessner Road around 3 a.m. Sunday morning. Video footage sent to us by a viewer shows the moment shots rang out. In the video, multiple gunshots can be heard, followed by an SUV leaving the immediate area. It is unknown at this time if the SUV is connected to the shooting. Another vehicle can also be seen traveling down the feeder before reversing at a high rate of speed just before the video cuts off.
