Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is pending notification to family members before releasing his identity. No other vehicles or persons were involved in the crash. According to the Houston Police Department Vehicular Crimes Division, a black Suzuki GSX600 was traveling northbound on Antoine Drive when the motorcyclist lost control and crashed into a utility pole. The motorcycle caught fire. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the male to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Police said no other vehicles or persons were involved. Police said the driver had a green light at the time of the crash. The pedestrian was crossing eastbound toward a gas station when he was struck.
