Crews entered with a thermal camera and located hotspots, determining the fire was burning in a void space in the attic. When officers arrived, they located a male inside a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck suffering from a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department personnel arrived, treated the victim at the scene, and transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
