Firefighter transported to hospital for heat exhaustion during auto shop fire

HOUSTON, TX - A firefighter was transported to the hospital after suffering heat exhaustion during an auto shop fire Friday night. https://youtu.be/2foEZaUb-nk The fire started around 3 a.m. in the 9200 block of Clarkcrest. According to the Houston Fire Department, a car inside the shop caught fire but it was extinguished fairly quickly. There were no other injuries.

Man found deceased in main lanes of the Southwest Freeway

HOUSTON, TX - A man was found dead after being found in the main lanes of the Southwest Freeway Friday night. The man was found around 10:30 p.m. Friday night on the inbound lanes of the Southwest Freeway just before the Bissonnet exit. According to police, they are not sure if he was struck or ran over by a vehicle but they did say that there were no vehicles connected to the crash that remained at the scene. The crash is still under investigation and police urge the public to contact them if they know anything about the crash.

Man recovering after being found shot by family members

HOUSTON, TX - A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot by family members. The shooting occurred at The Life at Grand Oaks Apartment Complex in the 5500 block of De Soto around 3:40 a.m. https://youtu.be/Pbtbro9Dnzc According to police, the man's family heard a commotion outside and found the victim, a young adult male. He was transported to the hospital by HFD.

HOUSTON, TX - Two homeless men are now recovering in the hospital after they were shot underneath a freeway overpass in Houston. HOUSTON, TX - Last night, a 10 year old and three teens (14, 15, and 16) were shot in what police say is a targeted shooting. The shooting occurred around 9 p.m. in the 2200 block of Collier. The suspects, who are believed to be three teens fled the scene. HOUSTON, TX - A man and woman were found in the back bedroom of a residence yesterday after police say he shot himself and the woman multiple times in a murder and attempted suicide. Transformer fire at Air Liquide Gas Plant on Bay Area Blvd

(LA PORTE, TX) - Crews responded to the 11400 block of Bay Area to the Air Liquide Gas Plant Sunday afternoon after a transformer reportedly caught on fire. https://youtu.be/D_HDo0QZVa0 According to La Porte Emergency Management, the fire was mostly out at 6:40 p.m. but crews will remain on scene to suppress any hot spots. La Porte Emergency Management also noted an increased amount of flaring from other facilities due to a power outage in the area as a precaution. Harris County Pollution Control is also on scene monitoring the air to make sure there are no impacts to air quality.
