HOUSTON – A shooting occurred on Dec. 31, 2023, at 9:54 p.m. at a residence located at 8600 Middleton Oaks Circle in Houston. The incident involved two males who were transported for medical treatment following a disturbance that led to both of them being shot. Both individuals are expected to survive their injuries. The shooting took place at a house, which can be identified in the video by its open garage door. After the incident, one of the males with a gunshot wound fled the scene. He was later found hiding a few houses away and is seen in the video exiting a side gate of a home before being loaded into an ambulance.

During this time, an unknown suspect opened fire on the group. One of the individuals was struck in the abdomen. Seeking help after being separated from the group, the injured victim knocked on several doors for help before one opened. He was then taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

HOUSTON, TX (December 31, 2023) Last night, there was a party at an Airbnb property in the 4400 block of Greeley where guests were watching a football game. One of the attendees, a neighbor was invited to join the party to watch the game. After the game, the neighbor left the party and returned with a large knife and attacked one of the party attendees for unknown reasons. This happened around 1 a.m. The victim who was stabbed in the shoulder then went to his vehicle, retrieved a firearm, and attempted to shoot the suspect as he fled. The suspect is described as an African-American male in his late twenties to early thirties, wearing all black and not considered a public threat. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
