Video shows moment shots were fired outside Club Aragon in southwest Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A woman was killed and a man was wounded in a shooting that began in the parking lot of Club Aragon and continued to the 8500 block of South Gessner Road around 3 a.m. Sunday morning. Video footage sent to us by a viewer shows the moment shots rang out. In the video, multiple gunshots can be heard, followed by an SUV leaving the immediate area. It is unknown at this time if the SUV is connected to the shooting. Another vehicle can also be seen traveling down the feeder before reversing at a high rate of speed just before the video cuts off. Fire crews were dispatched at 9:37 a.m. and arrived to find two trailer homes and three vehicles involved, with one trailer fully engulfed in flames. TULARE COUNTY, CA – A Porterville man has been arrested after allegedly setting a woman on fire, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded just before 5:30 p.m. on October 10, 2025, to the 24100 block of Avenue 120 in Porterville for a medical aid call. Upon arrival, they found a woman suffering from severe burns to her face, arms, and torso. An investigation revealed that 42-year-old Sean Hofmann had intentionally poured a highly flammable accelerant on or near the victim, resulting in the woman being set on fire.
