According to police, a known female suspect flagged down the victim and invited him into a vehicle. After a brief conversation, a male suspect emerged from the back seat holding a firearm. An argument and physical altercation ensued, and the male suspect fired two shots, striking the victim in the leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition. The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating why the SUV was stopped and whether intoxication or vehicle malfunction was a factor. The man driving the SUV was transported to the hospital and is expected to recover.

HOUSTON, TX - Police are investigating a fatal car fire that occurred shortly after 8 a.m. in front of TAXA Outdoors in the 7900 block of Blankenship. Officers arrived at the scene to find a male inside a vehicle who had been badly burned.
