The resident, who lives with a roommate, answered the door, at which point the suspect displayed a weapon. The victim panicked and shut the door, prompting the suspect to fire three shots through it, striking the victim once in the leg. The victim's injuries are non-life-threatening, and he was transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The incident occurred around 11:50 p.m. in the 3800 block of Hage Street. Officers arrived to find the woman with a gunshot wound to her stomach.
