The crash occurred around 9:12 p.m. in the 4400 block of Reed Road. According to investigators, the victim is believed to be a Black male who was using a wheelchair at the time of the incident. Police said he was struck by a vehicle believed to be a silver Mazda sedan traveling through the area. HOUSTON, TX – Three men were injured in a drive-by shooting outside the Friendly Store in the 800 block of West Little York in north Houston around 11:40 p.m. According to the Houston Police Department, officers assigned to the North Shepherd Patrol Division responded to a shooting call and found that three victims had been struck by gunfire. Two of the victims were shot in the leg and transported to a local hospital. A third victim was grazed by a bullet, treated at the scene, and released. Police said all three victims were adult males between the ages of 18 and 20. HOUSTON, TX – A wanted suspect was found dead after barricading himself inside an apartment in southeast Houston while members of a U.S. Marshals task force attempted to serve a warrant. The incident started around 5 p.m. in the 1200 block of Redford. Members of the Gulf Coast Task Force, which is part of the U.S. Marshals Service, were serving a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The warrant is believed to have originated from the Friendswood Police Department, and Harris County Precinct 2 constables were assisting. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. at Cowgirls, located in the 11400 block of the North Freeway. Kirkwood Road. Police said the victim and suspect were believed to be acquaintances when they became involved in an argument. During the dispute, the suspect shot the victim.
