HOUSTON, TX — Greenwood Lounge released a formal statement addressing a law enforcement operation that took place at the business during the early morning hours of Dec. 6. According to the statement, at approximately 3 a.m., an investor for Greenwood Lounge was stopped by law enforcement while en route to the establishment, removed from his vehicle, detained, and transported to the front entrance of the lounge. The investor was then escorted inside by multiple officers and questioned regarding an allegation that alcohol had been sold to an undercover officer.
