HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was struck and killed on the North Freeway Thursday evening. https://youtu.be/YSgxGTGtK2w The accident occurred around 8:32 p.m. in Lane 1 of the 3400 block of the freeway. Houston Police officers responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck and found an adult male who had been hit by a vehicle. According to police, the striking vehicle exited the freeway, contacted emergency services, and later returned to the scene. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. It remains unclear why the pedestrian was on the freeway. No charges have been filed at this time.
