HOUSTON, TX – Two people were hospitalized after a shooting on Jensen Drive in northeast Houston. https://youtu.be/iwiUDVjd90Q The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. near the 6200 block of Jensen at a nearby park Officers arrived to find two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. A 21-year-old female had been shot in the leg, and a 19-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to his foot. Both victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time but they are expected to survive. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are unknown at this time. Driver dies after rear-ending 18-wheeler on Beltway 8 feeder

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A male driver was killed after his pickup truck rear-ended an 18-wheeler on the northbound Beltway 8 feeder at West Lake Houston Parkway. https://youtu.be/JIBpyJsOT3c The crash occurred early Saturday morning and involved only the pickup truck and the commercial vehicle. Preliminary findings suggest that speed and alcohol may have contributed to the collision. Witnesses who stopped to assist described the driver as a Hispanic male between the ages of 25 to 30. Body recovered from Berry Bayou in East Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A deceased male was located in Berry Bayou after Houston Police were dispatched to the area on a report of a body in the water. https://youtu.be/Yn2G8_vaCq4 The discovery occurred near the 1600 block of Ahrens Street in East Houston. Upon arrival, HPD Eastside patrol officers and Houston Fire Department personnel confirmed the presence of a deceased male who appeared to have been in the bayou for some time. The HPD Dive Team was called to recover the body. The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine the official cause of death.
