HOUSTON, TX – A Harris County grand jury has charged Andre Medlock with capital murder in connection to the killing of 30-year-old Miles Everett during an alleged robbery in 2022. According to Case No. 1930629 filed in Harris County District Court, investigators with the Houston Police Department linked Medlock to the death of Everett, who was found with multiple gunshot wounds near the 6300 block of Scarlet Drive. Everett, a Colorado resident, had last been seen on Jan. 1, 2022, after traveling to Houston. Court documents state that investigators also tied the case to the death of 32-year-old Courtney Glaze, who was discovered in the backseat of a Buick at the same location. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – The Harris County Precinct 8 Constable’s Office announced two arrests following a narcotics search warrant carried out in the 900 block of Shawnee Street on Sept. 4, 2025. According to the Constable’s Office, the Street Crimes Unit, assisted by the Precinct 2 Special Operations Unit, located three individuals inside the residence during the search. Two were identified as Meghann Jean Coleman, 42, and Jose Angel Munoz, 46. A third female was released without charges. Munoz was found to have an active theft warrant from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said the search also uncovered approximately 2 grams of cocaine, 34.5 grams of methamphetamine, 13.6 grams of methamphetamine pills totaling 87 in count, 1.6 grams of heroin, and three firearms. SPLENDORA, TX – A man was arrested after police said he attempted to use an Uber driver to deliver a package containing narcotics. According to the Splendora Police Department, the suspect arranged for an Uber to transport a box he claimed contained baby wipes. The driver became suspicious after noticing a strong odor from the package and instead brought it to the Splendora Police Department. Upon inspection, officers said the box contained a large amount of methamphetamine and several THC cartridges concealed inside. To complete the operation, officers told the suspect the Uber had broken down. When the man arrived to retrieve his package, he was taken into custody. EL PASO, TX – Four individuals have been charged in connection with a scheme to smuggle children from Mexico into the United States, sometimes using THC-laced candy to sedate them during smuggling attempts. According to court documents, Mexican nationals Susana Guadian and Daniel Guadian, both 50; Dianne Guadian, 32, a U.S. citizen; and Manuel Valenzuela, 35, a lawful permanent resident residing in El Paso, were charged in the Western District of Texas with conspiracy to transport aliens and bringing aliens into the United States for financial gain.
