HOUSTON, TX – A woman managed to climb out of her vehicle after it landed on its side following a crash in Downtown Houston. The collision occurred around 9 a.m. near the intersection of Louisiana Street and McKinney Street. According to witnesses, the female driver was seen jumping out of the vehicle after the crash. A man in a white vehicle who remained on scene reportedly admitted to causing the accident and assisted the woman in getting out of her vehicle. Preliminary information indicates the female suffered gunshot wounds, and the male died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. According to Houston Police, preliminary information indicates the suspect, a man in his 30s, was known to the victim, who was also in his 30s. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
