Preliminary information indicates that two 15-year-old girls were riding a bicycle when they were struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. One teen was transported to a hospital in critical condition, and the other remains in serious condition. HOUSTON, TX – A bicyclist was killed in a crash early Sunday morning along the southbound Eastex Freeway service road. https://youtu.be/CzC_7mfEGaU According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, units were dispatched around 2:00 a.m. to the 13900 block of Eastex Freeway Service Road in reference to an auto-pedestrian crash. Upon arrival, deputies learned that a male driver, operating a vehicle in the number two lane southbound on the service road, struck a bicyclist riding in the same lane. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A suspect was pronounced deceased after being struck by a deputy's patrol vehicle during a pursuit involving Precinct 7 and Precinct 3 Constable deputies. https://youtu.be/12it6g-Ba4U According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the pursuit originated when Precinct 7 deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violations, including speeding over 90 miles per hour without headlights.
