December 11, 2022 - According to Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman in Harris County, two teens were shot in the 19800 block of Kenswick Dr. and Huntermoor Circle in Humble, Texas. Both teens were transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Two suspects were detained, and Constable's also recovered a weapon. Izaguirre of the Houston Police Department, a 25-year-old man was with a group of other males who were consuming alcohol when an argument broke out that led to him being shot in the head and possibly in the chest. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The shooting occurred around 2:55 a.m. in the 9700 block of Braeburn Glen Blvd at the Falls of Braeburn Apartment complex in southwest Houston. December 11, 2022 - A 25-year-old man was shot in the head at an apartment complex in southwest Houston just Sunday morning. https://youtu.be/r8H69m9amtk The shooting occurred around 2:55 a.m. in the 9700 block of Braeburn Glen Blvd at the Falls of Braeburn Apartment complex in southwest Houston. According to Lt. Izaguirre of the Houston Police Department, the man was with a group of males were drinking alcohol when an argument broke out and someone pulled a gun out and started to fire. The 25-year-old was struck in the head by a bullet, and possibly in the chest area as well. Police do not know if the man who was shot was drinking or what his role was in the argument, or if he was a bystander. December 10, 2022 - A homeowner was shot and killed shortly after midnight when he confronted two suspects that he found in his backyard when he heard some noise. According to Lt. Willkens of the Houston Police Department, the homeowner accidentally stumbled across the suspects in his backyard when he heard noises just after midnight in the 8400 block of Safeguard in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Houston. The homeowner then opened his garage not realizing the suspects made it back to the front and a confrontation ensued which led to the homeowner being shot and being killed. According to the Houston Police Department, paramedics and police were called to Senator Ted Cruz's home located in Houston's River Oaks neighborhood just before 8 p.m. A 14-year-old teenager reportedly had self-inflicted cuts on their arms and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. At about 9:30 p.m., The Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to an accident involving a motorcycle and a Jeep on East FM 1960 and Twigsworth Lane in Atascocita, Texas. According to records, a "Land Life Flight Helicopter" was called to the location at 9:40 p.m. The status of the patient(s) is unknown. Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office were spotted conducting an investigation on the scene.
