SWAT Activated After Woman Points Handgun at Deputies

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (June 1, 2024) - A woman is in custody after she pointed a handgun at Deputies in northwest Harris County. The deputies were originally called out to the 27700 block of Dana Lane around 8:30 p.m. after she was the woman was reportedly brandishing her weapon at her mother and stepfather. When deputies arrived, they tried to de-escalate the situation but the pointed the weapon at one of the deputies who then discharged their weapon several times. The woman was not injured in the shooting and a Harris County S.W.A.T. team was called out after she barricaded herself. She ended up surrendering after negotiations with S.W.A.T

Two injured in major fuel tanker fire on North freeway

HOUSTON, TX (June 2, 2024) - Just before 10 p.m. last night, Houston Firefighters responded to an 18-wheeler on fire after a crash with another vehicle in the southbound lanes of the North Freeway near Tidwell. https://youtu.be/70R86ATUj8Y According to Deputy Chief Harrison of the Houston Fire Department, two civilians were injured and transported to a local hospital. One of them has non life threatening injuries, and the other civilian's condition is unknown at this time. A foam blanket was put on the fire by Hazmat crews to extinguish it. The truck was carrying about 8,800 gallons of unleaded fuel. No firefighters were injured.

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (June 1, 2024) - A man was shot and killed during a dice game earlier this morning https://youtu.be/jyT9529sc2Q According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the 46-year-old Hispanic man, was playing a regular dice game with other individuals at a trucking depot when several suspects approached the game and demanded money just after midnight. During the robbery, the victim was shot multiple times. The suspects are described as younger Hispanic males driving a light colored SUV. HOUSTON, TX (May 30, 2024) - Walter Daniel Saravia Palacios is now charged with murdering Diamond Brigman a 36 year old transgender woman. HOUSTON, TX (May 28, 2024) - The Atascocita Fire Department responded to a house fire during the storms that swept through the Houston area earlier today. The fire took place just before 2 p.m. today in the 5700 block of Timber Trails Ln. According to Chief Mulligan of the Atascocita Fire Department when crews arrived they found a working fire in the garage along with some wires that were down in the backyard.  The firefighters immediately deployed a hard line to attack the fire in the garage.  The fire worked its way through a breezeway/cable run and spread to the home.
