HOUSTON, TX - A man was shot inside of VLive Gentleman’s Club in Southwest Houston Saturday morning. 

The shooting occurred just before 2 a.m. https://youtu.be/2SBMZLcsOOg According to police, the man, who is in his twenties was just inside the doors of the club and was shot in his hip area. A security guard who was just outside the club doors immediately provided medical aid until the Houston Fire Department and the Houston Police Department arrived on the scene. HOUSTON, TX - The Houston Police Department responded a second time Friday night to pro-Palestine protests outside of Ted Cruz’s home around 11 p.m. https://youtu.be/shXuw6aYv-Y One of the protestors was arrested for disorderly conduct by Precinct 1 Constables.  This triggered a second protest at the Joint Processing Center in Downtown Houston.  https://youtu.be/DLqbJZp5F7Q A few protestors were still outside of the Harris County Joint Processing Center  (JPC) at 4:30 a.m. as they waited for him to be processed. 

Update 11/8/24 - The lawsuit against Scary Canary Pub has been dismissed. Scary Canary was not found liable. HARRIS COUNTY, TX - A lawsuit was filed this week against Scary Canary Pub after a woman who was served alcohol at the bar was fatally struck by a car shortly after leaving the establishment back in December 2023. The lawsuit alleges that the Scary Canary Pub located in Northwest Harris County is responsible for her death under the Dram Shop law. The lawsuit claims that the victim, Lauren Goppert was over-served alcohol by employees of the pub and then left on foot. She was then struck by a car about half a mile away. HOUSTON, TX - Charges have been filed against Guadalupe M. Rodriguez after he shot a 39-year-old woman at Alex and Marisela’s Bar in the Magnolia Park area of Houston. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CwitOQFibM&ab_channel=houstonstringer The shooting occurred at approximately 9 pm on Saturday night. The 39-year-old woman was critically injured and was transported to a local hospital by the Houston Fire Department. Further investigation by the Houston Police Department's Major Assaults and Family Violence Division led to the identification of Rodriguez as the suspect. He was last seen fleeing the scene in a white GMC Terrain SUV, bearing Texas license plate TKK0506. Rodriguez is now charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm....

LA PORTE, TEXAS - April 22, 2024 - A structure fire was reported early Monday morning in the 300 block of S. Virginia Street. The La Porte Police Department (LPPD) received the initial call at approximately 6:50 a.m., and the La Porte Fire Department (LPFD) was dispatched to the scene. 300 S Virginia On the way there, they received notification that an adult female was trapped inside. When crews arrived, they found heavy fire and smoke and attempted to rescue the victim. Unfortunately, fire conditions pushed firefighters out of the structure and the woman was not able to be rescued by crews. Mutual aid was provided by the Port Houston Fire Department, Deer Park Volunteer Fire Department, and Seabrook Fire Department.

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (April 20, 2024) - According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, Harris County Sheriff’s Office units responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Holtman.  https://youtu.be/mflybYARcEY A man was transported to the hospital in critical condition and the suspect fled  the scene.  If you have any information about this shooting you are urged to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers.

HOUSTON, TX (April 21, 2024)  - A domestic violence situation involving a man, a woman, and a child escalated when a man was shot by a woman at an apartment complex in West Houston. https://youtu.be/buv8Y3Um_0w The shooting occurred in the 3400 block of Walnut Bend at the Vista at Westchase apartments around 1 a.m.  The man was transported with one gunshot wound to a local hospital in critical condition.
