The suspect, Tracy Gonzales, 48, is charged with injury to a disabled person with serious bodily injury in the 488th State District Court. She was arrested on December 30 following a months-long investigation. According to Houston police, officers responded to the residence around 7:45 p.m. on March 25 and discovered Nayeli Perez, 16, unresponsive in her bedroom. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, an adult male suspect was taken into custody after a traffic stop in the 24000 block of Northwest Freeway revealed multiple illegal items. Photo Credit: Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman The suspect, identified as Kendell Keshawn Gaulden, was found to have an open felony warrant. A search of the vehicle uncovered three live pythons, a loaded firearm, and illegal narcotics, including marijuana. Court documents indicate Gaulden was charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon while engaged in criminal activity. The pythons were released to a family member who arrived at the scene. The driver, a 53-year-old male, is believed to have suffered a medical episode and was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics. The identity of the deceased is pending notification of family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. No other persons or vehicles were involved in the crash.
